Method

With respect to my equipment, technique and editing decisions, I kept things as real and simple as I could. 

I shot these photos with a pocket size Nikon digital camera (see below). I used a tripod once. That's about it when it comes to equipment.

I relied on light - primarily from the sun but also from the moon, streetlights, cars, etc. - behind or above me to illuminate the subject of interest as well as to create my shadow. My daily environs and the places I frequented were the subjects of the photographs.
